Once a year, our Discovery School community comes together for a genuinely elegant evening. For this year's Spring Gala, we're pulling out all the stops.

The Theme: Kentucky Derby

This year's Gala theme is the Kentucky Derby, and yes, we fully encourage your most creative derby hat. The Kentucky Derby is one of the most festive, vibrant traditions in American culture, built around community, celebration, and a whole lot of pageantry. It's the perfect frame for an evening like this.

The Evening

Gala night is Saturday, May 2nd, at the Sheraton Universal. The evening includes a full dinner, dancing, a silent auction, and a live auction. It's a genuine night out, planned and hosted by the DSPA, for Discovery School families and staff. Adults only, so please plan accordingly.

Tickets are $225 per person and available now through the DSPA website.

Where Your Dollars Go

The Spring Gala is the DSPA's signature fundraiser, and the impact is real and direct. Proceeds support DSPA student education events throughout the school year. They also fund our mobile library, which is already rolling through our classrooms and adding books every single day. And they're helping bring our mobile art center to life, a program that will enhance and expand our existing art curriculum for every child at Discovery School.
