Why the Book Fair Is One of Our Favorite Weeks of the Year

There's a reason the Scholastic Book Fair gets kids excited. Books feel so real. Choosing your own, holding it, knowing it's yours, that experience sparks something real in early readers. And that's exactly what our Book Fair is designed to do.

What's Happening

Our Scholastic Book Fair runs all week from March 16th through March 20th, right on our front patio. Families are welcome to stop by anytime during the week to browse. There will be books for all ages and a selection of fun gifty items alongside them.

How It Supports Our Classrooms

When your family shops the Book Fair, Discovery School earns points we can use to order new books for our classrooms. Every purchase directly adds to the reading resources our children enjoy every day. It's a small action that has a real, lasting impact on what our children have access to.

Letting Your Child Choose

If you can, bring your little one along. Letting children pick out their own books is one of the best things you can do to build a genuine love of reading. When a child chooses a book because the cover caught their eye or the title made them curious, they're already engaged before they've read a single word.
